Not really: This new card ensures SPAR customers benefit from an extremely attractive cash-back system on all purchases in SPAR and SPAR Express stores. But the SPAR profit+ card offers much more. Customers paying for their purchases in SPAR or SPAR Express stores with the new card earn cash in the form of a 2% discount which is credited monthly to the card statement.

Attractive conditions with partner companies

The SPAR profit+ card offers additional benefits such as a discount of 2.7 cents per litre of fuel at petrol stations and discounts in fashion stores, interior decoration shops, electronics stores, travel operators etc. The website, www.spar-profitplus.ch, lists all partners and conditions for card holders of the SPAR profit+ card. Furthermore, the SPAR profit+ card offers exclusive shopping and value added deals from MasterCard.

Credit and prepaid card

In addition, the SPAR profit+ card can be used as a traditional credit or prepaid card both in Switzerland and abroad. To launch the card, SPAR Switzerland received support from Cornèr Bank, the financial partner, and IT & Marketing service company ApNet from Winterthur, the technical partner. The SPAR profit+ card is equipped with chip technology, PIN function and contactless payment for transactions within seconds.
