The people working in SPAR reflect
their unique personality on the SPAR organisation. They are the
point of difference and it is through these people that SPAR is
able to build a worldwide Food Retail Brand.
The importance of our people in
providing outstanding service is recognised within SPAR. To achieve
this we will continue to invest in training and development of our
staff. SPAR has several training academies run by member countries
which meet the requirements of the local market and the aim of
becoming an employer of choice.
The experience for our customers can
be greatly enriched as a result of the interaction with our SPAR
staff. Outstanding team members who have a 'Passion for Food' are
key to the creation of loyal customers.
SPAR Champions
Even though all SPAR employees are valued people
who live and breathe the core values of SPAR, often
there are staff members who go that extra mile or who have being
doing something outstanding in their area. We call these our 'Local
Champions' and we have asked them to explain what
